Back in February, John M0use embarked on his "Fen Sessions" project wherby ten songs were recorded, released and subsequently deleted over a hectic weekend. After much deliberation, and perhaps because they are so good, 2 songs have escaped their early fate and have been rescued from the recycle bin for a wider release.
"The Man Down the Road" is the first of those and is reminiscent of one of Pulp's seedier numbers, complimented by some epic Scott Walker style male voice choir. At just under 3 minutes it's gone before you know it but John M0use knows how to spin a yarn and this track sees him at the top of his poetic, pitch black comedic game. A godsend for those that missed The Fen Sessions, check it out.
